Windows cannot find ...mdb

Hi all

This message has suddenly started to appear when clicking on a shortcut to all my mdbs.

Windows cannot find [path] .mdb

I click OK and the db continues normally.

the message does not appear when opening a mdb directly.

odd huh?

any thoughts on how to resolve this annoying problem would be appreciated

resolved!

OK I've fixed this annoying prob ...

I had unchecked Allow DDE Request in the db Options - this caused the error however simply checking this option did not help - the error message still appeared.

Eventually I took a look at Folder Options, located the MS Access mdb entry and unchecked - Use DDE.

that sorted it

Thanks for that Micro$oft!
