Report Header First Page only?

I have a report where I want the header to only show up on the first page, and the footer to only show up on the last page. For now, there's only enough records to make the report 2 pages.

The report is designed to be a letter, with the header as the letterhead and introduction part of the letter, then the detail lists the records, then the footer has the signature block for the letter.

I can get the footer to behave, by setting the Page Footer property to 'Not with Rpt Hdr'.

No matter how I set the Page Header property, it won't act right - either
1. No header OR footer on the page

or

2. The header still shows on page 2.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Put the HEADER information for page 1 in the REPORT HEADER (not the page header) the report header will ONLY print on page 1.

The same goes for the REPORT FOOTER, not the page footer - it will ONLY print on the LAST page of the report.

Thanks Bob,

I'm such a dork! Of course, you are right - I had it in a page header instead.

Thank you very much!

No, you're not. It's easy to accidentally stick stuff in the wrong spot sometimes and still not have it "click" until someone else points it out. I know I've done it my share of times.
