SubReport with multiple Columns

I have created a main report that has a subreport in the details section. This sub-report is setup to have 6 columns so that I can display data horizontally. The columns are setup to go across, then down.

Also in the details section of the main report, I have put Labels as headers for the data that is listed horizontally.

This works fine if I only have 6 records. It shows the report horizontally with the headers on the left. However, if there are 7 records, it goes to the next page and leaves out the headers.

The reason why is because the details section in the main report is set to "Can Grow". This allows the subreport to continue it's "Across then Down" motion.

Is there a way to do a page break after the first page, so that I can get the row headers to show up on the second page?

Attached are two screenshots that show the first and second page. The first page has the row labels, the second page doesn't (since the subreport columns are expanding the main report detail section).

Hello:

On your report there should be a Property called PageHeaders: Make sure that it is set to "All Pages"

Hi Norstar2,
I'm working on this same problem. Did you ever find a solution? Thanks! -Dudley

I'm wondering about some code in OnFormat that would check for multiple pages in the sub-reports and, if present, then add the correct number of pages to the parent report? I have no idea how to do this, but it's a thought. -d

I reworked my reports into a Landscape page format so the sub-report columns could become rows. Works great.
