Today i came accros this in de "Sample Databases" section

Posts are moderated and ofcourse so are attachments. In this case the post was approved but the attachments are still to be examined??
Making the post worthless.

Odd.

Posts and attachments have to be approved separately.

The Sample forums and code forums are moderated.

I think the advice in one of the sticky threads at the top of these forums is to report your post when you make it so that it's brought to the attention of the moderators so that it can be approved.

If you don't report your post then you will have to bring it to the attention of a moderator in some other way otherwise it will not get approved.

The moderators are essentially independent. There are no formal instructions, it sort of by the seat of your pants. It's OK and works well.

Your comments are most welcome, and may or may not be acted on.

It will be up to individual(s) moderator(s) to respond, fix, address, depending on their skill set, experience interest. Also a factor, their time available, workload, family life.

It works well Without management.

For clarity:- above I express that the forums are moderated. What I meant by this was that the post cannot be made without the approval of a moderator not that there is somebody there watching everything all the time this is why you will have to notify the moderator to get approval.
