subform in tab control

I have a subform within tab control and for some reason it does not update when the main form record changes. I am using a database from MS Office templates, it works in that but I have checked and rechecked and cannot find what i'm missing. I know it is probably an extremely easy fix but I can't seem to do it. If anybody has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

btw... the link child fields and link master fields are in correctly...

I can post my database if i need to... Let me know if i was too vague about my problem


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go ahead and post it. There are about 10 ways to do what you are talking about.

Make sure to compact and repair, then zip it. Even a fairly large database should be okay then.

It might be me, and it might be you - but check the zip file and make sure it extracts to your computer. I get these error messages.

It unzips fine on my computer... I posted it again in thread:

there are purposeful errors pertaining to that thread though... if it works let me know and ill post a better one here as well....
