Getting subreport grand total showing as part of the main report

I have subreport linked to a main report. The subreport has grandtotal on the footer. When I the report is run, all the foot report on the main report shows except the footer total of the subreport. Eventhough the subreport is run a sepreately, the footer is displayed. I need ur advice to solve this problem

You can use a control on the main report to display the total of sub report

Pls can u explain the steps as how to use the controls. I am under pressure to complete this report for management meeting. Pls show the steps in the report

=IIf(YoursubreportName.Report.HasData,YoursubreportName.Report!TotalFieldOnYourSubReport,0)

Use the above code as the control source of a text box on main report and replace you sub report name and name of the total field on your sub report

add same code for each sub report you want

you can solve it yourself by following the advice already given in this thread. if you are getting stuck with one of the suggestions, post your exact problem and a solution may become apparent.
