[FONT="]Hey there folks.. I'm helping a voluntary center with an Access database problem.
Basically I need some help with getting an Access database available to all users on the network. They have a small business server running Windows Server 2003. I have built them a database, this database allows user to be able to put in information regarding callers specific disabilities. There can be upto 3 callers at any one point, and 3 operators.
Problem.
I need to find out how 3 people can access the same database file, at the same time, without getting an error. Each user must be able to save and edit the same records, if needed, and add records. The database is not complexe, by any means, just a few forums with some basic quiries.
Any ideas on how to allow user to access this database and still be able to save data.
I understand this is more of a server administration specfic problem. But some of you here may have actually implemented what we need. I am new to the Windows 2003 server envoirnment, so any tips, links, advice would be great.
Thank you very much for any response.
