Looks like Kirk Douglas is the oldest living lead actor. Olivia de havilland is a little older but I think she is more "leading lady"

As an aside, does anyone who which leading actor made the most westerns, after of course John Wayne. Maybe Glenn Ford?

I would have thought Clint Eastwood or Sam Elliot would be up there in the most cowboy movies category.

Barry, just because Col is always acting up doesn't qualify him as an actor :D

You might be right on Clint Eastwood. I would not include Sam Elliot as a leading actor. If non leading actors were included then Randolf Scott would take some beating.

Poor Sam Elliot, he's just very under rated, fabulous actor though.

Just to clarify, by lead actor I am using the normal term, that is, main actor in the top movies. But they could be shit actors and a top movie could be crap.:D

I think Jim Carey deserves another mention at this stage, he can really make a bad film worse!
