In repsonse to a question I have put together this little demo. Essentially it uses the Microsoft snapshot viewer control on a form. When the form is first loaded it disaplays the full contents of the report without any filters. The user then selects a customer form a combo box and on the after update event it reruns the report applying the filter matching the selected company.
The data has been taken from MS Access Northwind and some of the companies have single quotes in their name and as such will throw an error. This sample could be manipulated to suit any filtering method as the filter option is controlled by the form and not the underlying query.
In reality I should have used the Company ID as opposed to the company name but as this is only a demo, its primary objective is to show the methodology and functionality.
