I have a multiuser application which has the backend in the network. It was written in 97 and converted to 2000. After that I created a run-time version with the developers tool kit.
After the application is in use for a while then it starts giving me this error: "The expression AfterUpdate you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: The database has been placed in a state by user 'user' on machine 'machine' that prevents it from being open or locked.
The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user-defined function, or [Event procedure]..."
If I click ok, and do it again, it will run properly. It happens randomly so I have no idea what triggers it.
I added a msgbox to display the number and it showed number 2473. I have looked for info on that number but found nothing....
