Question Odbc connection

Dear all
I am trying to execute an append query in MS Access 2007 (the tables I am using belong to an ibm/as400 database), and i am getting the following error message:
ODBC--insert on a linked table 'library_table' failed.
\\[IBM\\]\\[iSeries Access ODBC Driver\\]\\[DB2 UDB\\]SQL7008 - table in library not valid for operation. (#-7008)
Any idea what i should do to overcome the problem?

This error can occur if the physical file on the AS400 server is not
journaled. To workaround this error you can either:

1.Journal the file
2. Run without commitment control by adding the LIBNAME option,
autocommit=yes.

libname x odbc dsn=** user=** password=** AUTOCOMMIT=YES;
