Access 2007-2010 Keeps Crashing (1 Viewer)

I have found that when I split my database that access keeps crashing. However, when the database is not split, it does not crash.

Does anyone have any ideas what is happening?

I have imported all the objest into a new database and I am still having this issue. I have also repaired the database and repaired the installation of Access.

Help??

* How is it split? Where is the Front End and the Back End?
* How many users use the db?

Howzit

I have this problem (Access 2010) when at times opening the vba window causes the database to crash and you can not get back into it with out decompiling it. Not sure if it is the same issue...

the database was split using the database tools. The front end and backend is on my C drive in the same folder. It is not split over a network.

I can't figure out what is wrong. I have not seen this before. Only one user.

Any action. The main form opens up and then if I do a search (there is a macro) or open up another form that has graphs it crashes.

Was this database a migration from an older version or did you create it from scratch?

I had the same problem. I discovered that one vba module did not contain the "option explicit". Once I add it , evrything returned to normal
