G'day all.
This is a demo of hiding Form details when not required.
Basic premise:
Only one master 'navigation' Form need be open to select a record and further details of that record can be displayed if required.
In this demo the navigation Form is in datasheet view but the detail Forms are popup but not modal. The detail Forms are opened on top of the navigation Form but since they are popup they can be moved. However, since they are not modal the focus can be set back to the datasheet Form for navigation while the detail Forms remain on top.
Where appropriate the detail popup Forms remain synchronised with the datasheet navigation Form record.
A new record is added by opening the New Record Form. If the new record complies with the requirements it will be added.
Tested with:-
Version..............: Access 2003 (Access 2000 file format).
Regional settings.: English, French, German and Portuguese.
References.........: None.
Error handling.....: None.
If you have any questions, please ask them in the appropriate forum.

If you wish to bypass the auto start, hold down the Shift key when opening the sample.
Regards,
Chris.
