Has anyone solved the Audit trail problem with subforms?

I asked the question because back in 2006 I built a database which solved this problem. With a bit of tidying up I think I could make a saleable product out of the code I've got, particularly because it handles the issue of auditing a subform.

Any comment advice criticism welcome...

I didn't know there was a problem! I don't go back to 2006 so you'll have to refresh my memory...

The solution to auditing subforms is to define the OnChange or BeforeUpdate event for your subform (as though it were an ordinary form) and call your audit code from there, too.

Just curious ---is this post related to this current Audit Trail and subform discussion?

I thought Allen Browne's Audit Trail did not have an issue with SubForms. Could be my old brain is slipping a bit.

I have seen 3 Audit trail links
-Allen Browne
-Martin Green
-Scottgem

I think the subform issue is specific to Martin Green version.

Perhaps others could comment on usefulness/completeness/ease of use of any /all of the above.
