Update table to table

Hello,

I have two tables "stockroom" and "stockroom prices" with the same named field in both [price].
The tables also have the same corresponding ID numbers. I need to have "stockroom price" [price] field update the "stockroom" [price] field.

I have tried a update query but that doesn't work, all it did was remove all the data in the "stockroom price" [price] field.

Appreciate the help.
