Combo box wizard

I have used the Help, and just learning how to make anything of access, and have been stumped on this problem for a while.

I have customers in my small business, and i have a customers table and then i would like to punch in a customer's ID (drivers license Number) and see if they have been here before, if they have then it pulls up their pervious services and orders, and I thought to do this would be use a combo box.

so i looked at the help and try to use a combo box, and the wizard gives you the option to choose from a combo box and pull up a record, and my combo box wizard shows only two choices, which are the first two choices

"I want the combo box to look up the vales in a table or query"

"I will type in the values that I want"

and the third choice seems to disappear on me, so if somone can help me with this or another way of getting what i want done, I would really appreciated it.

Your form needs to be bound to a table or query (check your form's Record Source property) for that third option to appear when creating a combo box with a wizard.
