Hi all - new to this forum so hope you all can help!
I recently took over admin duties on a multi-user (234 users and counting) Access system (CCUSYS). Whilst compacting the linked data file (CCUDAT) my PC crashed and the file subsequently required repair. I managed to fully repair the file but unfortunately the system developed a few saving glitches which I've managed to iron out. However, there is still a small glitch I can't rectify. When a record is saved, users are given the option to print a hardcopy cover sheet to be associated with the record's file. If users hit Yes then the sheet prints but the system sticks with the hourglass showing where before it provided the user with a new form to enter a new record. Pressing ESC gets users out of the stick but it's more time consuming and the 'Date Cover Sheet Printed' information is often not saved to the associated table.
What has caused this and how can I rectify it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I lose my job!!
