Currency problems (1 Viewer)

Hi,

New to the forum and in a bit of a hurry for an answer so apologies for lack of intro!

I'm am asking for help on behalf of my sister so am going to struggle to give much info, hopefully someone may have an idea though!!

Basically, we have an Access database with VBA.

One of the fields is used to type in an amount (currency). Numerous records are added to a table and each amount entered into the record is totalled and displayed in a field at the top.

Here is the problem, when £1000.00 is entered into the amount field, the total field changes this to £100.00. It also changes £5000.00 to £100.00.

My sis is an experienced programmer but can't put her finger on where the problem may lie!

Any help greatly appreciated - imminent deadline!!

first, we don't do deadlines in the forum
Indeed your info is rather brief.
At least you need to tell how and where exactly the total is being calculated.
Do you use any formats?
