Default I do nothing, my default date format is for example 2006.11.02 for today. This causes the problem I think, because when I go to the control panel and swith to the american format then the calendar is working fine. But I cannot use the american date format, that is my problem.

Access 2003 I'm using access 2003. Have you tried to copy the tab? The original one does function well but if I copy it as a fourth tab for example then it wont update this call notes field.

Help secton of ms access I found it in the help section of ms access. Push F1, enter contact management and the first hit is a link to this database. It opens somekind of internal download window so unfortunately I cannot give you a direct link. Hope you find it.
