I created a form but I can't get it to update all my tables while being filled out. in case I want the inventory to be sold out and being shown as sold after a sale.

How would I update my cash account account table through a form? I have just started working on access and am fairly new to it. What I am trying to do is to update my master table with all the daily sales through a form. Would I need to write a query into my form?

Hi, I have been having problems with the autonumber function for the tables.. I want the record numbers to be autonumbered.. but if i delete one of the records in between it does not automatically change the rest of the record numbers... In my database, I have the records like these: 1 2 3 7...
