    thanks bob but we already do this. I have my master file and then convert to accde for them to open but even when this problem is occuring i cant even open the master copy on their computer.

    Hi when i convert one of my accdb files to accde it will work the first time when i click save and publish to accde it will open then when i close down it wont open again. it will just freeze on the firs screen :banghead:
