Unfortunately that made no difference either still no visible forms reports or anything..... The switchboard finds the tables etc so its working and they are just not visible to me....... God I wish i could remember .... Thanks for trying so far but neither worked so far

No, I cant see any of the tables .... Sll I can see is "create table" create form icon etc.... Its as if there needs to be a key held down when initially opening the database to open it in full acces mode

Hi There, I am trying to open an Access database which was created a few years ago... When I open it to edit one of the forms I fail to see the forms etc that are in there. Is there a hot key you hold down when opening the database to be able to open Access in full edit mode showing all forms...
