I can only do Sum(Price) under my category group, but what i want is a Sum(price) at the bottom of the page in my report. I cant do it just be dragging it under page footer. So is this even possible in the first place?

hi people.. I have a database of a few thousand items under a hundred categories. Is there a way i can create the report to come out with a pre-defined category list? eg. cat P followed by cat X, then cat A, then cat 3.. rather than just ascending or descending?

Null Values thanks, problem solved.. Under query i created a field Balance: Sum([UnitsReceived]-[UnitsSold]) and set Total to Expression. Using the new Balance, I can now set its criteria to anything. woohoo!
