    auto fill in field

I have a form created from a table which was created from a query in access... hope I'm getting the terminology right. Any the db is related to payroll. Is there any way I can fill in a field with a payroll code of B5Z, which will automatically fill in the relating fields such as: Payroll Coord...

    find a record in report

I have a report, which is based on a query. I don't know how to 'find' a particular record. I have to do it the hard way, by going into the query, finding it, then back to the record to find it so I can print it. I have a lot of records in this report, needless to say it is very time consuming...

The salary information is confidential and cannot go out to the field...

    Trouble Making A Report

I looked at your sample, and it's too vague. If you have more details, just didn't send for confidentiality - then good. Now, I'm not a pro at access, but I love excel. What I'd do if I were you is put finishing touches on your spreadsheet. Add columns (total paid, total past due, days past due)...

sub report with primary key as ssn

I have a main report, with employee information... and added a sub report with dependent information, using the ssn as primary key. However, with some of the records it links by last name giving Mr. Jones 20 kids. In other records, it matches the ssn's perfectly even if the step children have...
