Please Help - Sharing Problem in Access 2007

Yes the backend is on the shared drive. The peer to peer network is where we link all PC's via a router rather than a server. One of the PC's acts as the host, which has the public drive, and all other PC feed information from that.

Please Help - Sharing Problem in Access 2007

The database shows as shared and no locks. Is there another Multi User setting I need to adjust. Thanks for your assistance. If not I will try and create a new database to test if corruption could be the problem.

Please Help - Sharing Problem in Access 2007

Yes I have checked and all the forms are unlocked. I agree that it is not the form, but the tables that are linked to the form, that seem to lock once a user in in them. It locks all tables in the backend, not just the table the form is linked too. I have read, that it could be the users have...

More Information One more bit of info. My collegues PC does not crash, when it opens a form already in use, it locks, until my PC exits the form. I would like us both to be able to use the form.

    Problem with Combo box Wizard

What I have found, is that if you create your form using the design button, rather than the wizard it does not use the select statement, and you can link to the Custome table, and option 3 will appear. My problem is, I have taken a long time to design my table, and if I remove the select...

I am a little confused now. How can I set up the link from the form to the table, without it including the select statement, as it just seems to do this automatically. Thanks David

The record source propert for the form currently states select customers which is the table of the customers, which is where the form input too. Does that make sense, what would I need to change. Thanks David

    Problem with Combo box Wizard

What does bound to a table mean. The form is currently used to input to a table. Would I need to set up a form that reads from a table and then I could search that. Thanks for your quick response.
