why do i receive an #error when i just print the sum on my report at my page footer? Unbound field =Sum([myfield]) is there something that i forgot to set? pls help. :(

ahhh.... now it's working. input mask is 99-99-0000 before when type 99-99-0000 it will automatically include backslah(\).. now not anymore. WEIRD!

hi wayne, thanks for the quick reply. what i did is i made a custom FORMAT which is mm-dd-yyyy, i can't use short date becase the format is mm/dd/yyyy. it's all in the input mask. but can't figure it out. i was able to hard code dashes(-) but i was prompted: THE VALUE YOU ENTERED ISN'T VALID...

hard coded chars.. how? let's say the field is date.... the format is mm-dd-yyyy now how can i make my field on that table so that i won't be typing dashes(-) anymore because it's hard coded. :confused:

ok ignore this thread... :D i got it... it's on the window mode. :)

I made a form (dialog) to enter begin and end date. and there i have a preview button calling the macro that will open my report. once preview button is pressed, the preview of the report will appear yet it isn't active. the dialog is the active window and not the preview of the report...

ok lets say this is an order form. upon keying in the item code, the description will appear automatically and would accept as many items as the user wants.. Nth times. then save this to order table.
