    Delete query to remove only pictures from attachments

    The raw data itself is too large (I exported it all with a VBA macro).

    Delete query to remove only pictures from attachments

    Hi Ridders, Are you talking about transferring the data to the disk drive and hyperlinking to it? I spent a couple of days looking into getting this working but struggled with it which is why I decided to delete the bulky, less important data.

    Delete query to remove only pictures from attachments

    Hi, thanks for your suggestion. Sadly, most the size (1.8GB of it) is in that one field so splitting down further won't help.

    Access to Excel Linked table pulling first column only

    Thanks, half way there.. Now setting the value in access i get "the value you entered isn't valid for this field". My Data type is set to number but the source grabs data from another table: SELECT [tblProducts].[ID], [tblProducts].[ProductID] FROM tblProducts ORDER BY [ID];

    Access to Excel Linked table pulling first column only

    Hi Guys I have a linked table from access to excel. Some of my fields are drop down lists and the data linked is reading the first column, the ID column (which is hidden in access). Is there a way of asking excel to look at column 2 rather than 1? Thanks

    Help with converting Excel to Access

    That worked perfect for joining the two tables. I now need to join all the tables together to get a view to display: RigID, BayID, SerialNo, Build, TestType, Failure, TestCompleted, TestComments When add add another link I get an error saying it could not execute due to ambiguous outer joins?

    Help with converting Excel to Access

    I think I'm half way there but my query shows no data. I have 400 bays in the table and have joined it (i think?) with the test table. Can you spot what I have done wrong?
