Your download modified very easily for my use. I am so grateful. I next need to figure out how not to have overlapping ranges entered for the same document type. I'll get to work on that but any further ideas you may have would be great.

I think I am a mixed bag for experience in Access. I've been using it for years for simple tasks but am now challenged in my new job to get VB coding involved. The changes in Access versions have also been a challenge for me so I am loving this site, it's been very helpful to me. Thanks all posters!
