I don't know if you knew this, but you are not posting to the forum when you post a visitor message. You are posting to your profile and people aren't going to be seeing your question if you post there. It needs to go in the actual forum area.

I have just created a table from a query using "Maketable". However, when I try to open the new table, access runs a query before opening the table. I thought Maketable broke the link between the query and the new table. It is particularly frustrating since I then want to run a VBA module on the new table an it appears to be re-running the query each time I try to read or write to a record within the module. Any suggestions, please?
