    Ugly Iif Statement

Ugly Iif's statement That was one of the possible solutions I had come up with. I think that it really is the only possible solution to my co-workers problem. Thanks for your help :)

    Ugly Iif Statement

Ugly Iif statement You can't really do that here because the Calendar Yearly Matching and Nonmatching are in separate fields. In the long run she may have to enter the matching and non matching budgets in the trustee table as separate records rather than separate fields.

    Ugly Iif Statement

I would love to have some friendly advice. I am trying to help a coworker and she is having a problem with the Iif statement she is using as Access says it is now too long. She has a database that records donations made by trustees for two companies. Company A trustees have a budget for...

    Problem With Sum

Thanks Rich. I seem to be understanding it a bit more. I need to reference the text box reference rather than the function inside the box. But unfortunately I am still getting the #name? error message.

Main Report, Sub Report and Hasdata

I know, everyone's favourite subject (hasdata). I actually have gotten it to work--almost. I have a main report, based on a cross-tab query. I have a subreport based on a crosstab query. I am now in the process of adding the subreport "total" to the main report to get a grand total;however...

One table, two forms not linked :(

Thanks Mark. I always think of that after I've done a form and run into a problem. I ended up solving the problem by putting a new comman button on the form and in the options of the command button, choosing to link to a specific record via the record id field.

One table, two forms not linked :(

I have a pretty big table and only so much room on one form for the information so I made another form with the remaining few field of info and used the same record number field hoping to "link" the two forms together...but it doesn't. The second form always comes up with the first record of...

Multiple fields in one table need to join

Thanks Pat. This is what I plan on doing (separating the regional payment information from the rest of the table).

Multiple fields in one table need to join

Sorry but the first time I posted I got an error that it was unable to post my message as the system was limited to a certain number of posts done at the same time.

Multiple fields in one table need to join

It would be better for me (in the long run) to make this two tables...the first table being the original funding information and the second being the breakout of where this funding went?

Multiple fields in one table need to join

I have a grant funding database. In the database, from a single funding source, I can have up to 20 Grantees (all different) funded. I've named the 20 fields, Grantee 1, Grantee 2, etc up to 20. I now want to combine these grants into one field so that I can do a reports as to which Grantee...
