It only ever changes the grade from the first subject reference(01325), it does not pick out the right subject! There are several subjects with different grade boundaries. I hope that you can understand my ramblings. Thanks Martin

All the coding is taking place in access so i have not personally connected to the database. The data is input into the table via a form, then when the recorded is added i want the grade to update itself depending on the subject and the mark. I hope that this helps a little.
