Scrolling a subform to the last record on open

Many thanks to all That solved the scroll problem completely for me ... and finding out what "current" is for solved a couple of other work-arounds that I've been using. I loveAccess when it's working ... but gee it's sometimes very frustrating getting it there!

Scrolling a subform to the last record on open

Thanks Ansentry, that worked great when the form loads the first time ... but when I change the customer on the main form and the subform updates to show the comments relevant to that customer, it doesn't go to the last record on the subform. I tried adding the same code in the "after-update"...

Scrolling a subform to the last record on open

It's the sub-form that I need to scroll to the last record. I tried the following code in the "on-load" for the sub-form, but it doesn't scroll down ... Me.Comment.SetFocus DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdRecordsGoToLast I thought I was getting better at Access, but then it throws something like this...

Data Entry at the Top of a Datasheet

Has anyone actually implemented a solution using the two sub-form overlay technique? I havn't been able to quite manage it; How do I get the dataentry form to just show the data entry line? What we are trying to achieve here seems so basic that I'm amazed Access doesn't have an option to...

    Target specific printer?

Thanks for the hint ... on Access 2002, It's File/Page Setup where one can choose a specific printer (or the default).

    Target specific printer?

I've searched the forums for an answer to this question and surpassingly didn't find an answer ... Some time ago I set up my Access 2002 DVD database to print covers on a color laser printer, though this printer is NOT the default system printer. I use the simple print command...

    Movesize problem

I want to have my form open at the top left of the Database window so I'm using Movesize 0,0 in the "form open" event. This works great until you try and eliminate the default tool bar to save space (I want to keep only the menu items). After movesize 0,0 the form ends up below where the...

    Printing upside down!

To use paint I would have to manually create each upside-down text string which isn't practical and turning the page would slow production a great deal. For now I guess I'll have to cut the page in two and glue... :( I can't believe no one has ever needed this capability before.

    Printing upside down!

How do I print some text upside down within an Access report? Thi seems like an obvious request, but I've searched to no avail for a solution. (I need this as I'm printing inserts for CD jewel cases that need to be folded. To get teh text on the backside the right way up when folded, I need...
