Never mind. Closed and reopened db, bingo. Who knows, but then who cares?

I need to change the datatype from text to OLE object to store an image. All files in the db are closed except for the table that needs the change. I've noticed that it won't let me change ANY datatypes on any fields to anything other than what they are (text). What to do?

I was an Access user (about 12 years ago?); then my employer switched to a FMPro database and I had to learn that. Now I have an occasion to build a little db for a user who needs it to be in Access. But woweeeee. I can't remember anything, or very little anyway. So please don't hate me...
