if you go into the queries you will see one titled qryPrice
i want to make it so that the sum of all the records in the price field are shown as one total

I've been trying to use a sum in a query to add up the currency of several records in a field from another table but as yet have had no success. The sum simply shows all the records but on there own and not in one total :confused:

:mad: okay i just got my filter query working [yay] but now everytym i run it .. it tells me to enter the parameter values for the field the query is meant to be automatically filtering

i found some stuff involving "w" for the week day .. but im still really confused .. where would i put this ( in my table .. in my query??) and how do i make it so that the "w" of sunday is equal to 1 , the "w" of monday = 2 etc etc ...

after looking through the capture cards would it not be easier to buy a dvd recorder and connect this to the vhs player .. then simply record onto dvd from the vhs ... if anyone knows if this works then please reply .. greatly appreciated thnkyou
