Check the properties VISIBLE (for every field). It must be YES.

As I can understand you, in this form put DATA ENTRY = No (properties).

Look at "DemoStartDateEndDateA20022003.mdb" (attachment, zip). Look at Table, Query, Form. Open Form1 and try. Adapt it in your mdb.

You don't need the same data in the table. It means that your tables not normalized wel. Learn something about DATABASE NORMALIZATION.

Did you put the code in "SUB FORM_CURRENT", (instead of "Sub Form_ Load"), in subform ?? Look at attachment, Access help (word, zip).

Put blank i INPUT MASK properties, and put NOW in DEFAULT VALUE properties. For that field i the table DATA TYPE put DATE/TIME, in Format properties put GENERAL DATE.
