Rebuilding PC Windows 7 not formatting data

I found the answer, the way to do it is to select 'Delete' instead of 'Format' as the new OS software runs. It then creates a new C drive & wipes the old one clean.

Rebuilding PC Windows 7 not formatting data

Thanks Galaxiom, I've tried that, left it today to delete & was still going 8 hours later. Also other folders were also left behind. The reboot from the DVD works OK, I just need to know why I can't format the C drive in DOS. Thanks

    UK telephone numbers

Hi wotme, The 'Input Mask' is what I think you're referring to, this forces the format to comply to a certain pattern. If that's correct, I don't think you'll be able to apply one format that suits 2 different formats. If the info is being entered into a Form, why can't you choose one...

Conditional Formatting 'Applies to' range change without input?

Sorry, I should add that I originally applied an 'Applies to' range of $A6:$R500 for this CF to make the changes but it changes, by itself to all sorts of cell ranges as well making the 'Applies to' range work inconsistently. So the original $A6:$R500 changes to something like $A26:$A501...

    Automate Exporting

Hi leighms, Here's some code I use to export from Access to Excel & saves the files to the 'C' Drive. Depending on the version of Excel, you may want to change the extension to .xlsx for the 'DoCmd.OutputTo ... ' part. You may want to add a Loop that select the various report names from a...
