@arnelgp I've had a look at the form and I cannot edit or add new data.
I need to be able to edit from the form, is this because its recordsource is from a query?
Thank you for the help @arnelgp and jdraw.
I will post a copy of the database so its easier for you to see how I would like the format of the form.
On the 'Component in detail review' (the form) I would like it to show the overall cost as a value (box in there its just unassigned at the...
Ok so this gets me a query with just the Component ID and the Overall cost
But I have the same problem as before, how do I show this Overall cost in the components form?
@arnelgp
Thanks I have done those changes but I now get an error stating:

FROM [Component List]
LEFT JOIN qry.[Component cost logic] ON...

Thanks for the quick reply though
@jdraw, thanks I have looked through the thread you suggested and thank you for the advice. However the field connections and relationships is not what I am struggling with.
I think I over complicated the question, what I need help with is referencing a particular cell in a query (known as...

Hi CJ
Thank you for your help, you really explained it well for me.
For future reference and for anyone else that may have this problem, I made a query to get the data and made a SQL code as follows:
FROM [Component List] INNER JOIN [Interface List] ON [Component List].[Componet ID] = [Interface...
I am using the Component ID field for both of the relationships as two components from the components table will be connected together, this is what I am trying to show in the interface table.
I will upload a picture of the data in the interface table so you can see the differences
Thanks for...
