    No I do not have the full version. It's $179 dollars for the stand alone or I have to purchase subscription to Office 365. I only was able to find the Runtime version. So that must be the answer if you can run it. Thanks for the help. John

    I wonder if I copy over the Microsoft Office files from the old computer that has the MSACCESS.EXE (Office 12 folder)

    I downloaded another data base and did find the "unblock" box but it also had no effect. Same thing opens to the default form no objects or top panel

    F11 key does not open the panel and I don't see in the properties where I can "unblock" the file

    Thanks for the replies. Here is the screen after clicking on "file". I also renamed the file .accdb I believe the Access program I downloaded was a runtime version
