No thats not the problem, i will be using it on a network drive, but at the moment i am running it on my own computer and it still uses up all my memory, the problem is deffinitely to do with outputting to word

I am using Access 2000 and for some reason it freezes at strange times. For exapmple when you output a report to MS Word using docmd.output etc this works fine but when you close word and go back to access, access freezes, why does this happen? Anyone?
