sorry for responding only now - sorry, never actually got to test dtSearch, in the end we managed with a standa-alone serach engine without a VBA interface.

Did you ever acquire dtSearch? I've been answering some posts on another forum where the poster is considering or testing dtSearch. I'm looking for someone with experience or some familiarity with that product (or others).
I don't think the poster is that familiar with Access and vba.

Did you ever find a solution to your post "Include file search engine in Access db? "? I'm looking for the same thing. I have a database for job recruiters and they want to be able to search all the resumes, which are in .dbf, .doc & .txt files, by keywords from access. Thanks for your help.
