I need to highlight several specific records in a form. I can't apparently do it in Form View and if I do it in Datasheet View, the entire form becomes that particular font/color. Is there a way to do what I need?

Your users simply have to hit ctrl "(control quote). That will copy whatever is in that field from the previous record.

I tried the suggested proceedure and it DID NOT WORK. I even went so far as to delete the "offending" system.mdw file and copy a clean version in AND rebooted. Nope. Didn't work. It seems that there is a control somewhere that allows me to set the timing on when controltip text pops up. There are times when I want it slower than others or faster. Where do I find this setting?

That's called ControTip Text and it's found in your Form Design View under Other. You can add a ton of text in there, but it's good to keep it short and to the point.
