Okay sussed it, SQL doesn't like the "-" in the selection data. A bit of use of the string function and a Like clause and away we go :) Drat, damn, who designed this database!

The error you are getting sounds like MySQL is objecting if that's any helpes. Sorry use MySQL with PHP but haven't tried with vb6. Should strPassword have a value?

To backup Jakboi here, do a google for a product called wamp5 and install that. The easy way to get the products listed installed, a few questions and you're done ;) Of course it's more fun to do it manually, but simple can't work out how to get php working with apache on XP platforms :( Never...
