Hi Its an Access 2010 database and I'm not sure how to make it a 2003 compatible one, certainly, it doesn't give me the option to save it as a 2003 version. Thanks for your time. Sarah

Thanks for this guys, but it isn't working. :( Allow Form View is set to yes and when I put the code in DoCmd.Maximize, it told me that this wasn't recognised. I am tempted to just do it again, but as I said, my worry is that I'll do the same thing again, whatever it is that I have done....

Janet, did you sort this out, because I am having the very same problem! My form is a complicated 5 tabbed affair that, as I'm a newbie too, has taken me days to create and now it doesn't show in form view, but I can see it in design view. HELP!! Sarah
