Thanks for that input. I have tried what you suggested and it only seems to be this database. Others allow alterations and save. I thought it has something to do with the design of this one...Thx

I have designed a database using Access 2007. I use a form for data input and now I find that I cannot make alterations to that form and save them. Each time I make an alteration I get asked the question " save the changes etc etc" to which I say Yes. The form stays in design mode and changes...
