    Excel DD-MM-YYYY

    Hi, I want to change the date format in Excel.If i enter 10/07/1984 it should be changed to 10 Jul 1984. but when i tried this using formatcells option it is changing the above thing as 07 Oct 1984. can anyone help me out of this?
