Looking at Amazon US, Jordon has an astonishing amount of reviews for his book.

I've got the digital version of the 12 rules, and read it cover to cover.

The instruction to tidy your room appears to be like an instruction you would give to a wayward child.

However it's one of the most profound things in the book, it is the idea that life is just a series of little steps. The most important of us, the most accomplished of us, those who appear to have something special, to have some ability beyond the normal. In essence it is just the ability to complete single little steps that make the difference.

Tidying your room, getting up in the morning and making your bed, these point to the fact that there is nothing special about anyone, other than the more successful people are more likely to take the little steps.

Jordan B. Peterson book deal triggers Penguin Random House Canada staff: 'Icon of hate speech'
“He is an icon of hate speech and transphobia and the fact that he’s an icon of white supremacy, regardless of the content of his book, I’m not proud to work for a company that publishes him,” a junior employee told the website Tuesday.

Penguin Random House staffers broke down in tears over release of Jordan Peterson book
According to the report, "several" employees confronted management of Penguin Random House Canada (PRHC), a subsidiary of Penguin Random House, at an internal town hall on Monday and "dozens more have filed anonymous complaints" about PRHC's plans to release the latest work from the politically and culturally outspoken professor.

“He is an icon of hate speech and transphobia and the fact that he’s an icon of white supremacy, regardless of the content of his book, I’m not proud to work for a company that publishes him,” one town hall attendee, who is also a member of the LGBTQ community, told Vice.

Another employee alleged that “people were crying in the meeting about how Jordan Peterson has affected their lives” with one explaining that Peterson had "radicalized their father" and another insisting the publishing of Peterson's book will "negatively affect their non-binary friend."

“The company since June has been doing all these anti-racist and allyship things and then publishing Peterson’s book completely goes against this. It just makes all of their previous efforts seem completely performative,” the employee told Vice.

Cancel culture is alive an well. It will probably flourish under Biden.

I find it disappointing that the highly compassionate Jordan Peterson would be viewed as an "icon for hate speech."

Quietly, in the background of news stories concerning the Canadian truck divers Jordan Peterson's name has occasionally popped-up. Seems that Peterson has not been making the news much lately. Now that the Canadian government is attempting to label the truckers as “flirting with extremists,” and suppressing their ability to raise money (GoFundMe withholding (stealing??) money). Maybe his activism is returning?

@Uncle Gizmo did you see Joe Rogan's interview with Jordan Peterson? He talks about his bouts with depression along with other topics only Rogan would ask.

I haven't seen it yet.
I do know that Peterson had a terrible time with some prescription drugs prescribed to him which turned out to be highly addictive!

Jordan's wife was practically at death's door and that threw him into a depression, hence the prescription.

He had to spend months in a Russian rehab unit specialising in this particular drug.

He is still not fully recovered...

I'm hoping to see him at Wembley when he does his UK tour in September.

Extract :-
Beyond Order: 12 More Rules For Life Tour. Hitting the road, for performances throughout the U.K. including a string of headline shows kicking off in London on 16th September at The SSE Arena, Wembley.
