Sir Ian Fleming is rolling over in his grave even as we discuss this idea.
Don't give them any ideas, now.Talk here about whether the next James Bond should be a woman. Why not a transwoman?
At the start of the film he/she could stand at the end of the empty sewerage pipe. Then instead of pulling out the gun and firing it, they could shout down the pipe "Well hello honky-tonk"
The plot could be James/Jean Bond fighting the nasty Dr No and his cat who insists that all ladies toilets and changing rooms are women only spaces.
They may as well make Barbie a man.
Maybe they are both transexuals. Barbie's the boy and Ken is the girl. However, neither Ken nor Barbie had any genitalia, so... moot point?
Which begs the question : Is Drag the 21st century equivalent of the 20th century blacking-up?Don't give them any ideas, now.
They already have begun rewriting all the Disney stories as tran-this, gay-that to toe the company line.
Remember, it is all about WORDS and DEFINITIONS. Liberals, when they can't win a war on logic, turn to re-defining things.
Remember when they used to just be called Transvesstites or cross dressers? That was the actual truth - a man dressed as a woman, etc. etc.
And that was good enough until liberals decided it didn't put enough emphasis on the [non-existent] aspect of actually changing your gender, so the fad went to "transgender".
(for all you wikipedia-history-grammar-correction-police, No, I'm not saying the word transgender was just invented, I'm saying it was just recently popularized and took the place of..)
That is the part of the transexual "movement" that I find most disturbing. The men dress up like clowns rather than actual women. Is that really how they see women? How insulting. It's one thing to go to a show to watch drag performers imitate female stars. That is entertainment and entertainment frequently goes to extremes. Quite another as a day to day dress code.At the end of the day they all tend to be stereotypical 'tarts' intended to make fun of women as an attempt at entertainment
I take it you think drag queens and transsexuals are one in the same. You need to get out more often. You probably walk right by transexual people several times a day without noticing. That is the part of the transexual "movement" that I find most disturbing. I'm quite sure I do. And I'm also sure they don't get challenged in ladies rest rooms either, at least not by me. If you dress like women dress and act like women act, you will almost certainly be accepted as a woman. It is the clownish attire and extreme makeup that sets them apart. It's a little like blacks talking like "Gangstas" rather than normal English speaking Americans. When I was a kid, blacks spoke with the standard regional dialect so you couldn't identify a person's race on the phone. If you were good with accents, you could tell in which part of the country they grew up. Now, I know your race when we speak on the phone if you choose to ignore your standard regional dialect in favor of identifying yourself as a "Gansta". If you want to set yourself apart, do it, but don't be surprised if you don't get offered the best jobs. You probably walk right by transexual people several times a day without noticing.
Do you really think you could gather 100 drag queens and transsexuals in a room and not find significant overlap?I take it you think drag queens and transsexuals are one in the same. You need to get out more often. You probably walk right by transexual people several times a day without noticing.
...Ok, sure, technically that's true as far as what they are 'saying' about themselves.A drag queen is usually someone (often a cisgender man) who performs femininity — typically in exaggerated, theatrical, and glamorous ways — often for entertainment (e.g., in shows, clubs, parades).
It’s a performance identity, not a gender identity
But how many normal men do you know who enjoy dressing up as females who aren't transgender?
