I was chatting with AI about love. It posed this question...

When you imagine acting out of love in a hard situation — confrontation, departure, sacrifice — does it feel like expansion or contraction in your body?

Like wtf?!?! How does a machine, in an abstract conversation, generate that?
Maybe it's echoing a script?

AI is trying to determine if love is exo or endothermic.

Just to let you know, I've done a lot with Chat GPT but today I eventually lost patience with its poor talents when it comes to debugging. It is pretty good at coding, has amazing suggestions as how to improve processes but is bad at debugging, it chases its tail, round and round doing the same changes, goes down endless rabbit holes.
So this afternoon I summarised the situation and sent a few screen shots and forms to Claude and hey presto, after 3 or four hours it is working

It seems to have a really good grasp of what Access can and can't do.

As someone else would say, just my 2c worth ;)

I have given up with ChatGPT. Today, in 3 or 4 hours, I accomplished more with Claude than in two weeks with ChatGPT. Also Claude does not do the smarmy false encouragement cr#p that Chat does.
Right now I would enthusiastically endorse Claude

Regards
Alan

I settled on Claude months ago, but primarily because I was more comfortable with its typical manner of interacting. ("...Claude does not do the smarmy false encouragement cr#p that Chat does.")

I've heard others say recently, though, that Claude, and especially Claude Code, works much better with VBA.

There you go, why learn anything?

Looked at the article. It says folks who live in California are smarter than many others. Can't see how that can be true since those are the folks that elected Gavin Newsome as governor.

It also said Louisiana was the smelliest state. North Louisiana smells fine. I'll admit there is a bit of a swampy smell in the southern coastline areas. But it might just have been based on folks not appreciating the smells of a Cajun-style seafood boil involving crabs, shrimp, and crawfish. Normally I would say that ChatGPT's insinuation was based on it smelling its own upper lip, but then again, it has neither an upper lip nor a nose, so all it can be saying is based on repeating someone else's opinion because it can never know on its own.
