Hi there, i also experienced the same problem to my Windows XP machine after updating the SP of XP Office Pro to SP3 and installing the IE7. Here's how i did to resolve the problem. 1. open IE 7 2. tools -> internet options -> security -> local intranet -> click on the 'sites' button 3. remove the check next to 'Automatically detect intranet network' and DO NOT remove the checks in sub-items 4. hit 'OK' button and try again That's how i fixed the problem and hope that it helps you guys too. cheers...
