Re: Custom Error Msg for Import

Hmm, to do that, the only thing I could think of is to import the data into a temp table and then use a recordset to loop through the records to check for valid data and compose your error message.

Re: emulate shrink and Grow fro a filed I have in a form

Hi. As Micron said, I'm not sure you'll find a satisfactory answer to your question. I wonder what purpose it is for.

Re: date between

Hi. Maybe you meant to use the + sign instead of AND?

Edit: That's probably not it. How about using only one AND after the END?

Re: User Defined Function in SQL Select

Hi. Glad to hear you got it to work and sorry it took so long. It would probably have gone faster if we only had a sample db to look at to make understanding the situation sooner. Good luck with your...

Re: Option Frame: Get Name and Tag text

The problem is the value of an option group doesn't directly map to the button like a tab page does in a tab control. If you continue in this route, I'm afraid you may simply be replacing your Select...

Re: Option Frame: Get Name and Tag text

Hi. I think I remember helping you with that one. Was it in this thread (https://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=307898)? Unfortunately, Tab Controls are a little different than...

Re: Summarizing calculated field in a form

Hi. Actually, it's possible to sum a calculated value, you just have to calculate it again. For example, if you had something like:
PALLETPCS: [PRODUCTPCS] * 100And doing something like this doesn't...

Re: User Defined Function in SQL Select

Hi.

Re: "Should the value show reversed?"

If it needs to be, try switching the expression I used to:

T1.tlSalePrice * IIf(T2.dtCredit,1,-1) AS txtSalePriceAnd see if that helps.

As for...

Re: Option Frame: Get Name and Tag text

Hi. It depends on where you put the tag. The frame itself has a tag. The radio buttons have their own tags. And the labels for those buttons have yet their own tags. Typically, I would just use a...

Re: User Defined Function in SQL Select

Hi. Thanks for the info. I'll try to work something out.

Re: Undefined function 'Nz' in expression

Hi Bob. The problem I found with your db is you have a circular reference because the name of your Textbox where you have the Nz() function is the same as the name of the field you're trying to...
